Body Composition Analysis – Body Fat Measurement

Polyfrequency analyzer for segmental body composition analysis – It uses 3 frequencies for highly accurate and segmental body composition analysis. This body composition analysis is based on the Bioelectrical Impedance (BIA) method and is an effective and accurate tool for dietitians. This test calculates the following:

  • Body Fat %
  • Body Fat kg
  • Lean Mass
  • Muscle Mass
  • Total Body Water
  • Extracellular Water
  • Intracellular Water
  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Bone Mass
  • Physical Fitness Classification
  • Visceral Fat
  • ECW/TBW Ratio
  • Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
  • Phase Angle
  • Basal Metabolic Rate indicator
  • Metabolic Age
  • Body Fat Distribution
  • Muscle Mass Balance
  • Lower Limb Muscle Performance
  • Segmental analysis for each lower and upper limb and torso: Fat percentage and evaluation, Muscle mass kg and evaluation

Body Composition Analysis – Skinfold Caliper

dermatoptuxometro

The Harpenden skinfold caliper is a precision instrument and serves as a predictive indicator for the percentage of body fat in the human body. It is mainly used for athletes to offer accurate evaluation, providing insights for optimal athletic performance.

Resting Metabolic Rate Measurement (RMR)

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) is what we would call the “Metabolic Fingerprint.” It is unique to each individual and is used to design a specialized diet and exercise program based on the person’s actual caloric needs.

The Basal Metabolic Rate is influenced by age, gender, weight, body composition, genetic factors, hormonal factors, medications, diet, pathology, and exercise. Even between individuals of the same gender with similar weight and height, RMR can vary by up to 900 calories per day.

For reliable results, at least 3 hours before the measurement:

• Do not eat
• Do not consume caffeine or any liquids
• Do not engage in intense physical activity
• Do not smoke
