Children’s nutrition

“How to handle children’s nutrition and how children handle parents through it”

Metabolism increases with:

  • Proper eating habits
  • Exercise

Proper eating habits:

  • Eat every 3-4 hours
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Reduce saturated fats
  • Reduce ready-made snacks
  • Reduce liquid calories
  • Increase fiber and vitamins

Let’s be role models:

  • “Do what I do, not what I do” I say!!”

How our children handle us:

  • We show how important their food is to us
  • The hours we spend with food are objectively more than playing
  • We express our affection through food

Eating disorders:

  • Anorexia nervosa
  • Bulimia nervosa
  • Emotional binge eating
  • Orthorexia nervosa

Basic tips:

  • Satiety scale
  • We never say no and never
  • We don’t go out hungry
  • We all eat breakfast together at the table
  • We prepare healthy snacks from home for school
  • At lunchtime we all eat the same food together
  • In the afternoon we all eat fruit together
  • In the evening we all eat together at the table
  • We plan a diet and follow a repeating routine
  • We cook together with the children
  • We pay attention to the appearance of the dishes
  • If they don’t like the food, we take it off the table without comment. We try again next time. We don’t cook something else
